Step 1
Using a fine tooth saw blade or cut off wheel, cut hose to the required length. Clean any loose debris from the cut end and inside the bore of the hose.
Step 2
MAIN FITING BODY-OLIVE-SOCKET
Disassemble the fitting, this consists of; the Main fitting, the Olive and the Socket.

Step 3
Cut the hose covering back only far enough to allow the socket to be pushed over the hose.

Step 4
Use a small screwdriver, pick or -2 line tool to flare out both ends of the stainless steel overbraid away from the PTFE inner tube.

Step 5
Push the sharp end of the olive over the PTFE inner tube and under the stainless steel over braid. Finish off by pushing against a flat solid surface making sure the P.T.F.E tube is fully home in the olive.

Step 6
Lubricate the thread and push the hose over the nipple and start to thread the socket onto the fitting.

Step 7
Finish tightening the socket onto the fitting with a good quality wrench until the socket is one full turn from the main fitting hex.

PRESSURE TEST
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THE SOCKET BE LOOSENED IN AN ATTEMPT TO ADJUST THE ALIGNMENT AFTER ASSEMBLY
